Child Support Unit

The Moniteau County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office shares a prosecuting attorney with the 26th Judicial Circuit Child Support Program. This multi-county child support cooperative was created to allow one prosecutor the ability to dedicate his/her time to handle only child support cases. The child support prosecutor and his/her assistants work closely with custodial parents, non-custodial parents, employers, Missouri Probation & Parole and the court system.

Cases are referred to the 26th Circuit Child Support Program by the Family Support Division when FSD determines that a Prosecuting Attorney Referral is needed. FSD has established certain measures and policies that must be exhausted before a referral is made. Before our program can handle a child support case, it must be referred to us by FSD. See the following webpage for information on applying for child support Services: http://dss.mo.gov/cse/ or visit Apply for Child Support Services

Mr. David Sallee currently holds the position as the 26th Circuit Child Support Program attorney.
